Is it? Because I got through like two episodes of the first season and thought it was cheap junk.Season 2 of Joe Pickett is kick butt
Season 1 was painful, especially to a fan of the books. But Season 2 seems to be starting off a bit better. Is it? Because I got through like two episodes of the first season and thought it was cheap junk.
Love the books, though.

True. The only real resemblance to the books are the names of the characters.I watched the first drop, I'm not at all excited about it.
This series has little resemblance to Clancy's Ryan.
Ford, Affleck and even Baldwin had better scripts and portrayals.
I guess it's good for me I haven't read any of the books. I can enjoy it for what it is.True. The only real resemblance to the books are the names of the characters.
IMNSHO, They would have been better making it about Jack Ryan, Jr. That would have es=escaped some of my problems with the series. But would not have avoided the stupid scripting/plot/filmmaking issues that I have with it. Timelines and continuity are out the window with this series. They are bad.True. The only real resemblance to the books are the names of the characters.
I literally fell asleep somewhere in Episode 2. I'll have to go back and rewatch, but thus far, Season 4 hasn't really caught my attention. I did enjoy the first 3 seasons.Sojust finished binge-watching Jack Ryan Season 4. Not impressed. Good thing they are ending it now.
