Rare to see so many stars in one film like that.I have the VHS version.

It took a bit to hook me but yeah it got me.Finished the season tonight. Another wow from TS. It was gritty and dirty but riveting. The wife would never watch it.
Apple paid $70 million for it, not going to be easy to see unless you get Apple TV. Might find it on YouTube or a pirate site…
This also goes for the latest Mickey Haller (Lincoln Lawyer, also written by Michael Connelly) novel, "The Law of Innocence." A bit of anti-Trump yammering injected for no reason that advances the plot....and there was a discussion earlier about the last season of "Bosch" having some woke elements....in my view, not that much....word to the wise, if that bothered you, don't read the latest Bosch novel, "The Dark Hours". It wasn't horrible, but there were some annoying aspects to it.
I'm looking forward to it. I like the Lincoln lawyer series better than Bosch. The movie was pretty good. This also goes for the latest Mickey Haller (Lincoln Lawyer, also written by Michael Connelly) novel, "The Law of Innocence." BTW, "The Lincoln Lawyer" series coming to Netflix. Scheduled to premiere in May. This first season based upon "The Brass Verdict", which was a good book. I hope its good TV. Small disappointment is that there will be no Bosch crossover as there is in the books because of different networks being involved (Bosch is Mickey Haller's half brother).

I tried to get into that series a couple of years ago. DIdn't work for me. But I do like JK.Started in on Counterpart (Amazon). It was a nice find. Rotten Tomatoes has it at 90% rating and I concur. J.K. Simmons is the main guy.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. He's been in a bunch of movies and TV in the last few years.I look forward to it. Who is playing Mickey Haller?
Don't know him. But I guess I will come to as I watch this series.Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. He's been in a bunch of movies and TV in the last few years.
I am about where you are third time through the fourth season. FYI, Jimmy is spinning off to a Four Sixes series. It was cool when JD referenced the King Ranch, which is awesome. Some of you know that I usually give a show 3 episodes before I commit. If it doesn't grab me by the end of the third, I am out.
This changed with Yellowstone. I hung in there even though I struggled with what was seemingly no good guys. I'm here to say now that I am totally hooked. I'm currently half way through Season 4 and so far it's the best season.
If you aren't fully behind the Dutton's and their actions early on, you are by the end of the 3rd season.
And after doing some research, I have a new found respect (might even say admiration) for Taylor Sheridan. He is the real deal as much as one can be making movies/TV.
Plus, having horse people in my family, it has been fun seeing more horse action with the reigning and cutting action along with bringing the Four Sixes Ranch into the series.
Next up: 1883.
I've never seen him in anything as the lead.Don't know him. But I guess I will come to as I watch this series.
same here. And now I've read all the Mickey (and the Harry) books as well as the other "spin/split-offs" from them. For a movie, I thought the LL did a good job for the book.I've never seen him in anything as the lead.
I watched the movie "The Lincoln Lawyer" before reading any of the books. Matthew Mc Conaughey was great, as he usually is, but not until I read the books did I learn that Mickey's mother was from Mexico.
I liked it. I have finished all of Bosch and Haller, but have yet to finish the Rene Ballard and Jack McElvoy books, so I'm out of order.same here.
