I am waiting to hear when they will be available. I think they will be worth looking at.
I am curious as to how it compares to some of the newer .380 pistols like the Ruger LCP?
Not in the same class at all. The R51 is more along the lines of the popular single-stack 9mm pistols on market (Shield, Kahr P9, LC9, etc), although it is slightly larger and heavier.

I want one but only if it's under $400.
Pretty sure it will be. I also sent a message to their Twitter account asking about the release date. They Tweet on weekends, so hopefully whoever runs their account will see it and reply.
Guns and Ammo and several other sites are claiming an MSRP of $389. I'd guess a street price of under $349 is likely at stores that typically lower markup. $329 would make the money jump out of my wallet all the faster.

Yep, I just saw a couple of sits saying Remington upped the MSRP to $420. Still a great deal for a single stack 9, IMO, at $389.Right now, our distributors are showing an MSRP of $420. Our "street" price will be $389.95.
