Anyone staying in cali after the last 8 years get what they deserve.
There should be a more stringent process for Californians wanting to relocate around the country than there is for immigrants. They have a lot more potential to do harm. I'm in favor of suggesting they remain in the bed they created and fix it.

Curious if an insurance company can simply withdraw completely from a state?

Seems like it would be easy. If they don’t write new policies and don’t renew their existing ones at the end of whatever term those have, wouldn’t they effectively be out of CA when the last existing policy expires?

    why not?
As long as they honor their obligations till the end of term.

This applies to all of Cali, but I don’t have a separate Welcome to Cali thread. Keep in mind State Farm is Cali’s largest home insurer:

Gee that’s a real shame, and they tried so hard by pandering to the demographics that are causing their financial woes. I knew State Farm was going down a few years ago when their horrible tv commercials went woke.

Hotel business is down drastically — unexpectedly! — and hotel staff are getting their hours cut and their contract is about to run out. So they’re voting for a strike?

When the Dems are importing all those productive “immigrants” to do the jobs Americans won’t do? It’s a bold move Cotton…

Well darn. Who could have possibly predicted that implementing utterly stupid, bordering on insane, economic and law (lack of) enforcement policies could have such a result???

Other than anyone with a ****ing brain, that is.

Here's the plan that will save Commiefornia.
Some enterprising utes go around and collect all the human waste on the streets (I mean the excrement.....then again, might as well scoop up the excrementers, since you're there...) take it to an undisclosed location (gotta keep the greenie weenies away) and burn it to create electricity to charge up all those EV's.
    Call it "Deuce for Juice".
