Want an AR but am not the best at cleaning my rifles constantly and hates jams.

I'm thinking about the RRA Entry Tactical with these specs....this a good rifle for 850.00?

    Rifle Specifications:

    Caliber: .223/5.56MM NATO Chamber
    Upper Receiver: Forged A4
Carry Handle: Detachable A2 Carry Handle
Barrel: 16" Chrome Moly R-4 Heavy 1:9 Twist
Muzzle Device: A2 Flash Hider / 1/2X28 Threads
    Trigger: Two Stage Match
    Safety Selector: Star
    Pistol Grip: Hogue Rubber
Handguard: R4 (M4) With Double Heat Shields
Buttstock: 6 Position Tactical CAR Stock
    Weight: 7.5 Pounds
    Length: 36"
    Accuracy: 1 MOA @ 100 Yards
Includes: One 30rd. Mag, HARD Case, Manual, Rock River Arms Lifetime Warranty

I love my RRA upper and lower (got their R3 upper and built the lower) but the only thing I would warn you on is Rock's lead time. It took nearly 5 months for my upper to come in. I don't know if this translates to their complete rifles, especially their more standard versions, but other than that I have no gripes. Also, that trigger is outstanding

748 versus BC-2 versus stick can make a difference after a few range sessions.

I run 748, CFE223, and 4198 through my ARs interchangeably, and they all function perfectly regardless of powder, suppressed or unsuppressed. I don't clean mine either.

But some ARs could be picky

Adams arms piston ar. I put a little over a 1000 rounds through it in a year and all I have done is pull a boresnake through it a couple times and that was it. Piston operation keeps the crud out of the receiver.

I have two ARs and am working on number 3. I have had no problems. One is a Adams arms upper and the other is a 6mm-223 that I put together. The 6mm is gas fed and I put a adjustable gas block on it to adjust the action and it don't get all that dirty.

Yes I do clean my rifles and brake them in with the one shot and clean for twenty shots then five shots and clean for twenty times. After all that I have had no problems with the rifles. I clean the rifles after use. Just how my dad trained me. Then with the investment I have in them I would take care of them anyway.

If I lived out West I probably wouldn't clean them as much but I have always lived where it humid and if you don't clean and oil them they turn to rust.

748 and 335 are hard to beat!
BL-C2 is dirty but still works pretty good.
