Thanks to the OP for posting. Just got the last 2 boxes of federal .40. Called and the guy confirmed they had some. Got there he said i was lucky cause there was 20 boxes when i called and only the 2 there on the shelf when i got there. sweet. Now on the hunt for 100 more and 100 9mm....
I was there at 11 AM this morning and they had no 9mm or .40 except for the WinClean that has been sitting there for a month. One manager did tell me that they were emptying the case at night of the popular calibers and storing it in the managers office. It is getting frustrating playing this guessing game whether they have it on the shelves or not.
5:00pm still plenty of 9mm and .40 as well as 550 packs of Remington and Federal .22 lr. There wouldn't have been any 9 left if the a**hole in front of me would have had his way. Ohio state shirt guy knows that I want 9mm and am waiting and he counts the boxes left, sees there are 30 left and asks for all of them...........Terry says...you can have 4. To which OSU guy answers what? Why? Then he tells me you know why ammo is hard to find don't ya? Obama wants to put serial numbers on the bullets.......Oh reallllllllyyyyyyyy??????
I saw a guy a few months buy at least 40 boxes of ammo from the 96st walmart. That was the last purchase I saw before the restrictions when into place.
Ol Terry's my main man................I bought two boxes of 9mm, just to find out when I got home it was the .40 I needed two boxes of, Oh well, can never have enough. I will stop on way home and get them if there is any left.
I was there exchanging a scope today, they had a ton of .40, and .38 I THINK, whatever they normally have, .38? .38 Special? No bulk .22LR, but they had .410 handgun ammo :O, as of 5 PM
Also, for those paying attn, I hit Westfield WM this morning (buying the broken centerpoint scope), no bulk .22, no 9, i think no .40 but they had .38 special, and i know it was special bc i sent a text about it BEING special, so THERE!
1 Aug 09 5 PM, struck out again looking for the elusive .40 Federal they get in and sell out all the time, except when I am around. They do however have a 20 rd boxs of nickle cased 165 gr .40 BONDED wincester personal defense ammo, $20 a box. Left side of case black box in the corner, cheaper than most gun shops. Is this ammo any good to carry CCW?
