I cannot judge every communication in written print. Sometimes if you don't hear the voice and see body movement you cannot get as much of the meaning. I used to be smug about people's anti 2A issues.

I now look at it as most people just plain do not know. Some people think they know based on some socialist school teachers bias. Some do not want to know the truth.

I try to look at every conversation as an opportunity to educate. If we don't want people voting against us, we need to help them understand the truths that we understand. Sometimes, to my best effort I can tell that the person is rejecting my positive attempts. For those I just try to leave them questioning their own views. "Is that what you really think" "How did you come to believe that way", "Where did you get that information" ?

It takes some time and effort, but we really do have to be patient. Anyone you can show the truth is someone who will not be as fast to demand that you join the cult of victimhood. They might even abandon their error.

Thats really good what you said. I kinda had a conversation with a lady at pizza hut friday. She doesn't like guns cause she said when she was younger, she shot her toe off. I didn't care to question it but i did say that was her choice and left it at that. She wasn't against gun owners, just wasn't for her.

I dated a 32 year old woman that was just really against guns. I got down to the source. She was 17, dating a loser 19 year old and they were at a party in the woods, drinking. As the Jack Daniels flowed, the guns came out. The men talked her into shooting a .44 mag revolver. 1st shot ever, drunk, no eye or ear protection. "shoot it or I'll kick your ass". She pulled the trigger, hurt her ears, hurt her hand, scared the wits out of her. She cried, they mocked her, even the other women, bad plan, bad night. I understood.

That summer had dry firing, pellet pistol. and proper range work with a .22 Ruger. She would shoot my .38spl. She didn't care for .357 loads. She actually became a pretty good shot. I was proud when she challenged herself and shot a cylinder full of .44 Mag.

I was in walmart earlier and unloading my cart into the car. A guy getting the carts said something i didn't hear and i said" i didn't hear ya". He said " i bet nobody f**ks with you. I seen your gun." I didn't show i was pissed for what he said and calmly said " it's not just about me but rather everyone else around that may need help too. Carrying a sidearm doesn't make anyone into a badass." He started saying something else but i got in the car and left. I wasn't hearing any more stupidity.
Any chance he was not being stupid? Guessing someone picking up carts at Walmart might have some challenges in life? His grammar may have been a clue?

Does ones good grammer show intelligence, along with good decision making?
Well often poor grammar is sometimes an indication that some one has challenges life? I do not know about the causal relationship between intelligence and good decision making. I am sure there is some statistical data out there that may be useful in predicting an outcome.

My point being was that with out having the benefit of being there it’s hard to determine intent. Not saying the guy was being a jerk or not just looking at it from another perspective.

If that's the case, there are a lot on INGO with challenges in life. If I had a nickel for every time I saw someone type "I seen" or "I seen something for sell"...

Occupational hazard, just taking into account he was from what I understand working as a cart attendant at Walmart, with maybe with limited education, and perhaps one of the hardworking individuals with challenges?

Not judging just wondering, one of my wife former students works at one of the Walmarts as a cart pusher. very nice person that is doing extremely well to be working and living in a group home. Sometimes there some really good people that have challenges that may be mistaken as being stupid. Quite a bit of difference between stupidity and ignorance.
