So I’m back to looking at a Vp9 and on the HK website there appears to be only one choice aside from the tactical version. However I have found if I google vp9 LE it takes me to bass pro and the gun they show talks about an upgraded version and it’s about $100 more than the other ones they sell. I’m wondering if I’m just missing something or if it’s an out dated gun they no longer make?

There are a few different versions of the slide, normal, tactical, and long. There are two different grip module versions, button mag release and paddle mag release. They also have different sights on different versions and also different magazine capacities. There are also optic ready slides and non optic ready slides as well.

Yes, sorry I get that. I guess I’m just trying to figure out more about this version. I haven’t been about to really find anything other the what’s on the bass pro website.

So I guess it really just looks like an extra mag and night sights. I was more wondering about the trigger since it goes out of its way to talk about it in the description but I can’t find anything g to back up that it’s any different then the other vp9’s. I guess I could just ask my lgs. I’ll most likely wait till next month to see if shot show brings anything exciting

It's also optics ready and pre cut to mount a red dot.

VP9 slides are somewhat difficult to mill out for an optic. When I had mine done there weren't all that many shops that offer it. It was kind of a pain to find one, so if you do plan to add a red dot, the optic ready version is a good choice. Although you still have to find a mounting plate for whatever RDS you choose.
