Bite the Bullet - When Bob owned the shop it was the first gun store that my wife felt comfortable visiting. Mark and his wife have continued this fine tradition. Prices are always competitive and people are friendly. This is the shop that I always recommend first when my friends/family ask me where to go. I only wish I had more disposible income to give them.

Mark treats all customers with politeness and friendliness no matter what their knowledge is or if they are female of male customers. This is definately a gun shop to go to if you are a lady or have a lady looking for a gun. I drive right past two other gun shops just to get to BTB. Their prices are great and customer service couldn't be better.

1.) Rangers Supply
Very helpful and veteran owned store with an outstanding selection and "some" gunsmithing service on the spot.
2.) 21st Century Firearms
They could be my number one store, but it'd take me 1.5 hours there and back. They carry actual reloading equipment on site that noobs can do and see for themselves. Just last week I recommended to a friend that he and his son should make the drive.
3.) Sniper Company
There's been a niche to fill in the fort wayne gun market for a long time and I think their store is going to go a long way to filling it.

- Plainfield Shooting Supply - Excellent gun prices, great inventory of guns. Have good supply of reloading "STUFF"

MC Sports Bloomington
My vote goes to MC Sports in Bloomington.
Very friendly and super knowledgable firearms staff. I can't say enough good things about these guys (and 1 gal) at the firearms counter. I know I should support a local shop and it took me a long time to even consider going to a retailer like this but once I got in there it felt like a hometown shop. I just want them to have the recognition they deserve.
