Really neat... a little too SBS :P .. I'd want at least enough barrel to contain the expansion of the shell itself.. :P ... who am i kidding....

But yeah, really cool.. I always love watching time-slowed video

Too bad there wasn't any sound... Why do I have the feeling that the shooter said, "Hey y'all, watch THIS!" just before pulling the trigger? ;):):

That looks like all the thrust was from the primer, I do not think there was even enough pressure to light the powder, let alone benefit from it's power. Even 4 inches of barrel would have held pressure long enough to light the powder and give that satisfying powder flash (and a lot more velocity).

    Probably a good thing

It does look like the powder charge didn't ignite and, if that's true, it's probably a very good thing. Hey Darwin Awards! Candidate available!

You can see the powder following the plastic wad out of the shell. I would guess you could have used a piece of paper as a shot-proof vest. Doubt it would have done much more than dent the paper.

Yep, red-necks last words would seem appropriate for someone about to try this.

Without a barrel, would ATF still have a cow about it being an unregistered NFA weapon??? Can't be a short barrel shotgun without a barrel!!!! :D:D :D :D :D :D

I think it would have to be tried "in absentia". ;)
