Yep. Unreal.Did I hear right tht he already please guilty?
Well, you start with a .gov full of anti gun liberal radicals...How does this even happen ?
Agreed but still being high profile you would think he would have been so far above board that he would be above reproach.Well, you start with a .gov full of anti gun liberal radicals...
Smart people sometimes do stupid stuff.Agreed but still being high profile you would think he would have been so far above board that he would be above reproach.
I just read his signed affidavit Not a good thing.Yeah, so reading the indictment he didn't just get some machineguns and then 'forget' to demo them. Him and some chiefs of police operated an illegal importation ring, buying Russian guns against US sanctions, and flipping for fun and profit. Unconfirmed, but maybe to the tune of 7 figures of fun and profit.
I think a lot of people, me included, thought he just got caught up in a perhaps overzealous prosecution for trying to get some toys by creative means. What he's plead guilty to isn't that. Not sorry for him, not sorry for the chiefs of police using their positions to help it along, either. Greed got the better of them, apparently.
His life is pretty much over due to doing stupid stuff. Depending on his sentence and his health issues he'll most likely die in prison whereas he once was at a respected pinnacle. He knew better.Smart people sometimes do stupid stuff.

After looking at it it seems (appears to me) $ over rode brain function. His life is pretty much over due to doing stupid stuff. Depending on his sentence and his health issues he'll most likely die in prison whereas he once was at a respected pinnacle. He knew better.
