We got our insurance updates for work. They are increasing rates if you are a smoker, and they said smokeless and e cigarettes are included.
Just don't make it a substitute. Use it to quit. Have a set path to stopping and follow it. It's like starting methadone for heroin and continuing methadone for 10 years...
They are quickly becoming the new cigars from what I've seen. Different flavors, high end $300+ vaporizers, etc.
E-Liquid Flavoring
Buy your liquid tobacco crap here. Not sure of the nicotine component. I bought some natural flavor stuff.'

^This, to the tune of $20 per week for those who partake.
With us it is $50 a month. Not sure how they are going to enforce it.
They won't... Until you need your insurance and then they deny your coverage because you're enrolled inaccurately as a non-smoker.

That is what I was thinking. Even with that, as long as you are not smoking in front of them how would they know??? I bet they have a test but never see one given.
My wife was in the hospital a couple years ago. They were giving her O2... They asked if she was a smoker, she said she gave it up about a year earlier. They said the O2 level was a little low. Sign of a smoker. Or someone who recently quit.
I've had to go into an insurance office for a mouth swab before for insurance to test for tobacco use.
Wow first I heard of that... But surely not the last...
The only real way to quit smoking is to not smoke.
Anything else is "withdraw management". As Robby said, some methods of smoking cessation may actually provide more nicotine than actually smoking which can leave you smoking more than when you started.
Quiting smoking sucks, but not being a smoker is pretty awesome. Your senses of taste and smell will wake back up, you'll breath easier, and you'll have more energy because of it.
41 Days ago I picked up an e-cig. Haven't had an analog cigarette since. Pack a day smoker, started off with 18mg nicotine, am now down to 6mg. My goal is to be at 0mg by new years. My previous experiences were Chantix (horrible), patches, and gum. I've tried cold turkey and it didn't work, so I suppose I'm weak in the eyes of some. So be it.
I always said that I would "quit tomorrow" then tomorrow came. I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The doctors say I have less than a year with treatment. I have lost 30 lbs in the past month because swallowing food disgusts me, and a half and my voice is shot. Good thing I got Jesus, huh?
Don't think you are weak at all... Do what you can it is a bad habit and hard to break. Do what you can. I just have a problem with the e cig sellers pushing that they are healthy. Can it be a better alternative??? yes but don't think it is healthy.
Good luck...
