Same exact thing with my Dad and Stepmother. They tried very hard to convince me to get the jab "for their sake" and didn't understand when I was adamantly opposed to doing so. Now that it's apparent that the jabs were worthless and can cause serious side effects, they don't want to talk about it...
I work for an employer who mandated it and had to fight for an exemption then was subject to weekly testing till the fall of 2022. My parents and siblings are all jabbed and share a low opinion of my stance.
My adult son is a first responder in Indy and was nearly first in line when they started rolling out these new inoculations. He had the first version of Covid in January 2020 (yes, before it was supposed to have been here and had 104 temps, body aches, cough that wouldn't quit, severe fatigue, etc...) it was horrible and lasted several weeks but he didn't catch it again till after he had gotten his full round of vaccinations for it. Now he's had three bouts with Covid since being 'fully vaccinated' from it. He's also started having issues with his heart that they are trying to properly diagnose and treat since it's so unusual for males in their early 20's to have heart issues.
