    I had a very good private ground spot.
    You;d have thought it public land.
    So many deer poachers.
    Got that pretty much taken care of.
    Then came the turkeys...........and turkey poachers.
    Never got shot at, turkey hunting.
    But several times while deer hunting......some shooting at ridgeline deer.........slugs coming over.
    A few shots were no doubt thrown my way on purpose.

    Have hunted turkey on public land several times.
    Never had a safety issue.

    Go figure.

    I guess I'd be hard pressed to resist returning fire. And seeing as I do not bother with shotguns...
