It is interesting though what some people will post. They seem to think that only their little circle will ever see anything that they post.I am as guilty as anyone, but social media is a terrible detective, most of the time.

Agreed. Just seems like if this really was the guy - they would have had this wrapped up on day one.
I think I sometimes overestimate the FBI. If everything above is true, a relative of the girl that just got out of prison for attempted child rape and they just got around to doing a DNA swab yesterday, that seems odd.Agreed. You and the FBI.I am so confused right now.
Why do you say that?
Need evidence that he was part of THESE specific crimes.Uncle of one of the girls. Did time for sex crime against child. Facebook posts. Would he not be a prime suspect?
Need evidence that he was part of THESE specific crimes.
All of that is circumstantial, yes. And important, from an investigative standpoint. But for actual prosecution, they'd need much more.
The line between "suspect" and "defendant" can be a chasm.
Completely understand. But it didn't seem like they were looking for evidence for prosecution. They were looking for a suspect. 6,000 billboards in 46 states?
How did 45 years turn into getting out in 28?
