Congrats and study hard! You may be "just" ATC but trust me what you do COUNTS, particularly if your the guy getting vectored out of crappy weather or onto a target! Owed many beers to controllers over my years.

Guys, I really appreciate the support.

It is something that just feels right to do and I am excited for this new journey.

While I understand I am not in a combat MOS I am a firm believer that we need all parts to be successful in today's battles.

I will not be...I will be In RSP after 20101227. I am a little too far out from my ship date so they put me in an unpaid inactive status until Dec 27th. Then I will be drilling with my RSD in Greencastle. After AIT I will be with a unit down at Atterbury

There's only one ATS at Atterbury; you won't have any trouble finding it when you finally get qualified. You've picked a good time to get into that field, since Atterbury Airfield is more busy than it's been in years; lots of opportunities for practice with different aviation units.
