Wasn't there a thread or video about 200 some gunfights and like only %1 reloaded?
Well, based on that argument, what percentage of people use their guns for self defense on a daily base?

Sounds cool, if you get a spare minute post up a pic of it or pm me one ? Honestly never thought of making myself something like that ,would be interested to see what ya did
I carry one of those also.I always carry a reload. It's more for the psychological satisfaction than any concern I'll use it. If you want to talk odds/stakes or pure logic: A tourniquet is a much more likely to be useful thing that's not discussed much and seldom carried.
Gotta agree 100% Crazy folks out there! I've upped to my Moss 500=12ga, spare ammo fixed to sidesaddle, besides my CCW and 2 spare 17 rd mags. Added my plate carrier too.A month ago, I would never have carried a spare.
Now, I want two bandoleros. And several spares.
Is John getting annoying, with his steadfast idea of not wanting an extra mag?
My go bag always has spare mags. But then again, single stack ,45's you don't get a lot of bullets in them lolI carry 10+1 daily with a 15+1 in my vehicle and 15 round mags for p365 in the vehicle. If society is unfolding like in certain times, I carry level 4 ceramic armor and an AR in the vehicle. If it’s not, I still to the basics. If I’m going somewhere uncomfortable, I carry extra mags on my person.
John is getting annoying to me, but not because of this issue. The short version," I don't care if you carry spares, do your thing, I am just saying statistically they won't be needed." I can't say I disagree with that.
I agree. I doubt if many here have ever been in a gunfight. A few of us may have during war. If I could predict the time that I will be involved in a situation that required defensive gun use, I would rarely carry. As far as how many rounds, 5, 10, 15 too many is better than 1 less than needed.Statistically, we will never need a gun at all, right?
Not at all the case. In his video he does the numbers and it comes out to something like 30% of people could use a firearm to defend their life over the course of their lives.Statistically, we will never need a gun at all, right?
