Have always had the service or tactical sized Glocks. Finally broke down and bought a G19 ( Gen 3 ) . Have had it to the range twice now and I am really impressed. Have fired 500+ rounds thru it without any issues. It has ate everything from 115gr FMJ to 147 JHP so far. Loads also ranged from very light target loads to near maximum loads with Blue Dot.

I was also curious if I would find my cases bulged or not, but was pleasantly surprised to find they weren't, unlike my factory .40 barrels.

Usually I keep a new gun a bit longer before I consider it a " keeper " and take the die grinder to the front of the trigger guard. I have never grown fond of the contour to it.

    I like the 19 but I use the full-sized 17 because I'm compensating for something I imagine.

I'm a big fan of the G19 as well. To me it is a great carry weapon. Size is small enough to easily CC in and IWB holster, but there's enough barrel and grip to make it a fairly accurate gun as well.

I need to upgrade to some night sights on mine though...
