I just spent couple hours dealing with 2 different phone companies, for my Legion Post. My complaint is worse. I win.

Storming down here. Must be utility day, I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with Duke Energy this afternoon.

Yes they are. Up here people with brand new homes get them.

Storming down here. Must be utility day, I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with Duke Energy this afternoon.

We're supposed to get rain tomorrow, next 3 days.


Our Commander decided to "save" us money, by switching to "Birch Communications".
But he didn't inform me.
I get a bill for them, and disregard it. Why would I pay a phone bill to some company I never heard of, and we (Legion) have AT&T?.
Next month (last week), I get another bill with "Termination Notice".
So I call AT&T, wait 55 minutes (maybe 50) on hold to find out what happened, cause the Commander still hasn't told me.
So I tell them to switch me back, and go through that hassle.
I send in the bill for Birch Communications now that I know it wasn't a scam.
Friday, our phone is disconnected.
Today, still not connected.
Call AT&T. Since it is a transfer, they need an active line, and ours is inactive.
Call Birch Communications, yes they received our check, but FORGOT to reactivate the line.
So, an hour later, our phone line is connected.
Now I have to call AT&T AGAIN to transfer our line from Birch to AT&T.

Finally done.
Note: I left work at 1:30 PM CST.

Asian Lady Beetles...they look like lady bugs but bite, leave stains if you smash them and stink.

YUCK! Hate them!
