Hey Mom, I finished my hat. It turned out pretty well for my first crotching project.

It looks like it turned out great!!

I'm making a small afghan now and then need to make some more finger puppets. I have a friend from high school that is raising her grandson who would like a set. I told her I would just make a set and send them to her. I have a couple of more sets to make as I want to send a set with the baby afghan I just finished for my great-nephew. The next bigger project after that is a mermaid tail afghan...that should be interesting. Yarn should be here by Saturday according to tracking. That one is for a friend in the garden club. She wants it for her mom's birthday gift so I have till the end of June to get it done.

Based on Skulldaddy's tales about you, we will need measurements for this project!! It may take a LOT of yarn.

Yes you put it over your shoes when you sleep.
It's still used by one unit of the French military who are Alpine troops.
Their berets are much larger than other units.It's more like an histotical thing now I believe, they probably have fancy warm sleeping bags and dont need those anymore.

Not quite out yet....JoAnn's is usually more expensive so if I can't find it at Walmart or need a fairly good assortment of colors, I use Herrschners online when they have shipping specials and sales. Shipping was a penny last week so I ordered what I needed on sale and got it all shipped for 1 cent. I ordered some for the neighbor from JoAnn's cause they had it on sale in the color she needed. They had a coupon for $2.99 shipping and it was cheaper than Walmart. I have even found it on Amazon at times.

I'm looking at getting some new fancy sunglasses.I like some Oakley models but they are , not sure if I can even find them in stores around here.
I knew what store who carried them but they also sold them to LEOs.No idea why.
