I remember during the Cold War era of the 1980s watching the US news and they would often release statements from the Soviet News Agency TASS which would be nothing more than total complete propaganda glorifying the Communist state and condemning the US. Of course the US news anchors of the time realized that too.

I quit watching the US national news as it now seem like the old Soviet "journalist" are running the show. Glorifying the Democratic /Socialist/Communist party and condemning everything (Republicans) that does not agree with them.

My point is that you dismiss the communists altogether, essentially burying your head in the sand. I’m not saying they’re everywhere. I’m not calling for everyone to but I am suggesting that you shouldn’t bury your head in the sand either. It is evident enough that the far left has a lot of power in the US and is using that power to gain more power.

It’s like I said, they’re not everywhere, but they’re also not no where. Probably you should balance out all that NPR propaganda with something at least a little right of center.

I'm dismissing the caterwauling about "communists everywhere!"

The point of this thread is the "Sovietization of the American press", to which I say it's utter hyperbole.

Then the response to that was doubling down on the hyperbole with the "they're going to ship us to camps!"


It's just more internet outrage culture.
