Yeah I have several 3 MOA dots on various pistol , 22s , 45s and used them on 357 revolvers. Have a couple 2 MOA tube style red dots on 22 pistols. All the 9mms I've owned thus far have been used with 6 MOA dots , Holosun , Vortex Venom and Sig Romeo 1 Pro. The 6 MOA Romeo for some reason seems overly large compared to the other two. The Holosun that should be here tomorrow for the P226 is a 2MOA. The P226 shoots fairly well with the 6MOA but hopefully better with the 2MOA.Have you ever shot with a smaller dot like the Holosun’s 2 moa dot? I was surprised to find that the small dot really showed how unsteady I was. The dot looked like it was shaking while I was aiming on target. I’ve been told that a larger dot like a 6 moa helps make the unsteadiness less noticeable and some people prefer a large dot for that reason. I took some tips that I got here on INGO that has helped me steady the dot better.
