i'm at work now. they won't let me take pix of my guns or booties. i will upload some when i get home.Where’s the picture?????
Both are important things to get a good grip on.guns or booties.
I put nice Hogue wood grips on a P226 and P229 this year and have decided that I just don’t like the feel of them. They are larger and have a smooth back strap. They are fine for shooting a 9mm, but I find that my grip keeps needing adjusted when shooting .40 or .357 Sig. They sure do look nice though.
To fix this, I’m going to put my standard Hogue checkered G10s on those guns as well but have toyed with checkering the back straps to see if that helps. If not, I’ve ruined nice grips though.
They sure are pretty though.
i had hogue rubber grips on all of my sigs. it helped somewhat with felt recoil but they just didn't look right to me, a little too bulky. g10s are definitely a step up. i have hogue g10 extremes for my p220 carry that feel really good. i'll probably get some aluminiums for it after christmas. i have a set cool hands g10s for the p229 carry and a set of guuun g10s for the witness.I put nice Hogue wood grips on a P226 and P229 this year and have decided that I just don’t like the feel of them. She sounds like a keeper!Appreciate the offer Grill but I think the wife has just laid claim to it and has been browsing the Sig shop like a Montgomery Wards catalog before Christmas!
