Guess the surprise I got today? There were 2 other almost completed knives in with yours... Those two have the SAME stain, just not as bad!!!

Were they made from the same batch of steel? Maybe some bad blanks? Or maybe stop drooling on our knives?

Different steels. Yours is 5160, the others were 3V. So it had to be something they came in contact with.....

I'm not much of a tanto fan but DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG. That's a sexy beast. The one right above it is more my style though.

All are gorgeous blades. Fine craftsmanship indeed!

None of them are double edged. And none are ground thin enough on the back side for an edge.
