    But I bet all of that would be expensive.
    The windows are from the 50's when it was built.
    Our house originally had aluminum windows, and the windows opened out with a rod. Had to switch out screens and storm windows every year (when I was growing up). Mom and Dad had the vinyl ones put in back in the early 90's.

    Well that would be quite a change over twice a year.

    This house when we moved in, I had to close the duct work to the either the furnace or the A/C depending on spring or fall. That wasn't bad other than remembering to do it, although if you forgot you figured it out pretty quick.

    That would be scary for sure! Ours is just a ranch style and fairly shallow pitch at that.
    The bigger money was in the 2 story homes. He got me out in the center of the plank on the ladder jacks, and then jumped up and down. And rapped my fingers with his hammer handle when I reached for the gutter for something to hang onto.
