Right, 'cause if the bad guy behaves himself knowing that you're armed, it totally ruins your opportunity to get into a gun fight and shoot him.
I'm sure once he found out you'd tell him.I don't want the bad guy knowing he is in the wrong place.
Did you read the OP? Most people don't notice OC because people are so into their own little world rather than keep the eyes opened.
How often have OCers been targeted vs CCers?
Don't know the answer to that question, however I just read this... https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...-open-carry-right-robbed-gun-he-carrying.html
Yup, been posted before. However, that's 1 case. I read somewhere that over 1,200 times a day a CC draws a firearm for self defense. So 1 vs 1,200x a day of OC vs CC being targeted...
There is a difference between being targeted because you are carrying and drawing your gun because you were targeted. See this is why I rarely look at the OC vs CC thing.
I live on a dirt road down from a subdivision so we get traffic every once in a while. I typically OC when I walk the dogs. Never been confronted about it. That's the only instance I will open carry unless I'm in the truck and know I won't be going anywhere public.

What is your reasoning behind CCing everywhere else?
Why? This IS an arguement thread, after all :thumb:
