I find it sad, but I'm not going out and buying flowers either. You're right, he knew the risks and so does everyone else that gets into a fiberglass tub and goes 230 MPH. At least he died doing what he loved.. More than most of us will ever get.

The US media is great about taking a tragic event and playing it up for every bit of ratings they can. It's disgusting. Look at the Anthony trial, or this race, or hurricane katrina, or the tsunami in Japan. The list goes on and on.I agree, it is sad. I haven't nor will I adorn the speedway with a memorial of flowers etc.
I honestly wish the news would talk about something else.
wait, there are fluids to check in vehicles?
I was unaware of the tub... however, I was not being speciffic to that track on the speed number. I was saying in general.ok, I am being picky but it is carbon fiber and the cars rev limit out with the gear rules at 221 give or take a mile an hour at that particular track.
spoken like a true woman.
It was kinda eerie hearing all the interviews that were done before the race about how scared the drivers were that someone was going to get hurt.
Anyone in this thread think INGO is a republic?

I figured you were generalizing I was just being picky as someone who actually works on the stuff. (note: I only do vintage and show car stuff. I don't work for any of the race teams)
Anyone in this thread think INGO is a republic?
As much as the People's Republic of China or the Democratic Republic of the Congo
