    I was quoted $700 for wifes car with disc brakes all the way around. I did it myself for $225. Now I have to do a set of valve covers on a Toyota that they want to charge $600 for. It's $35 in parts and 3 hour job. It's like paying myself $185 hr.








    I feel for you, I have to do some work on my car this weekend. But, I figured out how to do a repair for a broken power window for $60 that my car guy charged $500 for.

    Did you replace rotors too or just use expensive pads because that seems awful steep.
