The only question I have is, do we want the chili hot or not... I mean, I can make it mild or medium and bring pepper seeds and chili powder to make it hotter... I prefer to make it medium and then just add to flavor as you want.

personally you can't make it too hot for me. But with a group I like what you suggest make it medium/mild and then let people increase as desired.
