Do they still have you memorize the work to move to the next degree? I knew they were talking about doing away with it.

Yep, you still have to memorize the work. They are much more laid back about it though. No one really checks, as long as your mentor vouches for you. I'm doing two parts tonight, in addition to my work as Senior Steward. Get to do some conductin since we have two!

I knew some lodges did coat and tie. Heck even tuxes for special occasions.

All of them I have gone too did the casual thing (not jeans).

I barely slept last night. I have a 6 month old who just started teething. Usually he is a very happy baby but today nothing seemed to please him. At least it will be better tomorrow
