The threads are very large and the amount of torque applied is not large [it uses an o-ring to seal, not the threads] so I'm just not sure if it's a concern or not.
I'll likely put some anti-seize on it just to be safe. Just have to be careful not to let any get on the o-ring.
Yeah, I was watching the radar, Indy is about to get slammed.
Looks like its gonna fly through quick though.
As I found out at work several years ago. Especially 10-32 stove bolts we used on sailboat rigging.Doesn't take much torque with Aluminum.
We have a couple instrument transmitters at work that the threads are seized up on.
Back when we had 12 guys on the crew, we'd pull the instrument out, replace the shell, reinstall the guts, and calibrate.
Now that our crew is only 5, we put the cover partially on, then use duct tape.
Which tends to make the instrument NOT waterproof.
And the instrument covers galled, just from spinning them on.
Aluminum to aluminum can be very touchy.
It is moving fast, and isn't very thick.
that's what hubby said too
WTG jagee!!!!
Fake meat burger with 'healthy' mac and cheese...at least people are noticing that I'm losing weight so it is actually paying off

Last time I had Brussels sprouts they were cooked in bacon grease, they tasted like bacon and I was ok with that
