I heard that!!I can hit steel at 400 yards with iron sights on my Mosin...watch out.
Glad I made a good choice then. Was chatting with Rayne, and then Alan.Nice scope, one of those on a 10-22 is my Appleseed set up. Wife also has one on her Marlin 795
Lady at the BMV says to memorize it, hasn't changed in many many years. Never thought of that!

I hope you don't ever need one.I can't remember the last time I took that test. I just renew my license on line. I guess it could be a problem if I ever have to. I just use reading glasses. I don't have a prescription.
I remember that story. Good on AAI "broke" a Vortex scope last summer. They had it replaced with a nicer model (mine was discontinued) in a week.
Got 3 fingers splitting open on the ends, OUCH.
Went by an LGS today, he had a bunch of bricks of .22LR Thunderbolt. $40 a brick. I don't need any, but it was nice to see it back in stock.
Ouch is right. What did you do?
That stuff won't work in my pistol. Jams every time. I can use CCI and Federal with no problem, but not Thunderbolts. I traded what I had with a friend who could use it in his gun.
The day I did that the first time, I was just trying to find my limit with that gun. I was surprised I could go that far with it. I explained the sight picture to my son, and he did it too! It was a fun day.I can do the same thing with my AR-10/M1-A but I prefer using the scope......
