Our local bakery has a fritter they make every Presidents Day weekend. It is a fritter made with cherrys and with a cherry glaze. They only make them for 3 days a year and they are soooooo goooood.
Called Cherry-thing-a-lings.
I went up there a minute ago to get a 1/2 dozen for my MIL and the line was out the door. Plus, a local TV station was up there filming a segment about it. T

That's in Oldenburg, little town 2 miles north of Batesville. But they are practically the same town.
