No, I was but I'm home now. Spent Mon, Tues, Wed in Green Bay, drove home yesterday afternoon.

Like I said in another thread this morning, we won't give up

my daughter says someone approached her about being a traveling salesman.. I strongly discouraged her. Was I right?

Depends on the company/job/territory. It's all I have done since 1985 and it's been good for me.

I worked in an office for a year while serving out a "non-compete". Hated every minute of it.

I now none of the that. I just reminded her that it could be overnights and her baby wouldn't like Mommy being gone.
She loves her job, hates the people she works with. Told her to take the good with the bad and get over it.

I know it works for some, but I really don't see it working for her

the boy waits until the end of vacation to ask if he can go to the Childrens Museum.. makes me angry because I would have taken him if he'd asked earlier. No time to take him now
