    At least you weren't sitt'n on the side of the interstate wait'n.
    I've had to do that a time or 12. Never having less than a 3 hour wait. :noway:

    Yeah I had to do that a few years ago. I had no cell phone so I got out of the car and tried to flag someone down. I was due to have a baby in less than a week and NO ONE would stop for a pregnant woman with a dead car. After a couple hours a very nice state trooper stopped and gave me a ride back to town. At least this time I was at home.

    That was my thought too. I'm not sure I would pick up a random stranger on the road either. It's a scary world. But someone who is clearly about to bust I would stop for. A few months ago I stopped to pick up a woman WALKING down the interstate in the rain with 3 kids. I asked her how long she had been out there and she said she wasn't sure but it was over an hour. It turned out I passed her car about 2 miles back. I know how it is walking somewhere with one kid, let alone three. She must have been out there quite a while.
