Took a sick day for a couple different appointments today. One of them was an eye exam. They blasted my pupils wide open with those drops which keeps me from being able to drive safely for several hours after.

I always refuse to have that done. I have to drive myself home and I don't want issues doing it

That's the most important part of the exam for me because of the diabetes. Not much point in going at all otherwise. My vision has always tested 20/20 so far.

Even though they always test me at 20/20, I still have this aggravating issue with the stuff close up. I use off the shelf reading glasses for that.

Hindsight? Don't need to look back. I've already been there!
