Not really. My dad got a CJ degree, but if he did it all over again he said he would skip college. It's not worth it to pay for a degree and get taught a lot of the same stuff in the academy. This is what I've heard from most cops.

I don't believe so at least at my dad's department. It will get you a $750 or $1000 bonus per year I can't remember which. I believe ISP requires a degree, but I have no interest in doing that.

Actually I have a degree and it does nothing for me, so not always the case.

Most kids I knew when I went there that were in for that degree were pot dealers. Lol!
