Can you put a trigger lock on it and that be considered locked up?
Whats wrong with the shotgun ,firing pin ? Thats easy to fix and i work on guns ,hell a lot of us on here could help ya with that .

Not sure what is wrong with it, he just said it would not fire. I don't need another shotgun I just need a barrel. He said he wish he had known cause then he would have gotten that instead. But I didn't want all this to happen with mom. Yes I can get a trigger lock I just have to go buy one. He just asked if I wanted him to get it fixed or sale it and so I had to tell them I had a shotgun. Ugh!

some Police Depts give out gun locks.. check with them first

Not sure. It wasn't in the greatest shape. The one I need a lock for is an 870 remington, the one I shot at the meet.
