define panic. At what point do we panic????
define panic.
we have turned on all the backup/booster pumps to increase system flow. we are right on the ragged edge right now. we have to run all the equipment at what is basically a half to quarter power to prevent over heating.
all the equipment is water cooled and the machines operate best around 100F and shut down on temperature safety at 115. when I took measurements a few minutes ago they were running around 110.
machines run 24/7 so we just have to adjust schedule as best we can to minimize heat load during the heat of the day.Maybe you should take an extended late lunch WS. Or come in extra early and leave early.
Dang, you going to have to stay late to watch the equipment? Or, do you just shut everything down?
luckily we just purchased a software upgrade so if something shuts down the control will send me a text.
we are setting up the high level tests that generate the most heat to run over night when it is cooler out and power is less expensive.
Hey MM, how's it going? Gotta work tonight??
Yup. Leaving in an an hour or so.

if the machines don't run we don't make money. If it gets bad enough we will go buy 500lbs of ice and load it into the storage tank to drop the temperature. we just try to avoid that at all cost though.
