Clean? What's that? I wiped my AR down to get the sap off and that's about it.:dunno:

    :yesway:

I'm gonna clean all of mine just because its been a long long time and they are looking pretty nasty lately. I think it'll be a good way to spend a little bit of memorial day weekend.

Good afternoon INGO!!! Just went out to the range for an hour and was using the technique that HandK showed my wife Saturday. Wow, does that make a difference!!! Is that similar to what is called "two thumbs forward" HandK???

I'm going to run my 9mm AR until I get a failure. It's got about 6-700 through it as of now.

Do you guys really go that long without cleaning your AR's???? I have been cleaning mine every 500 rounds or so and run a bore snake down it after each range session.

my .223 hasn't been cleaned in a few thousand. It still runs fine, just need to keep 'em lubed. As in, hasn't been touched at all.

Really???? I'm a Noob to AR's and I always heard that they had to be kept clean & run wet. Now you have me interested. I'm gonna see how long I can go.

Always keep oil in your range bag. if you start having a lot of malfunctions oil it up real good.
