What is this "not having a gun" thing that you are talking about? :dunno:
Never heard of it before. :D

I knew it was going to be a battle and wanted to keep it a fair fight. There was a state trooper in the next bay doing some work. I suppose I could have borrowed his glock. :D

it's illegal.. I'd rather carry it everywhere else then break the laws and never be able to carry it.

I know the thumb down was not for you but for the fact that it's illegal to carry in school even though you have a LTCH which is ridiculous since you can carry in a candy store full of kids.

    ok.. gotcha

what's funny is my son would come into the shop, be behind the counter where all the guns were, help pack them up etc.
I don't lock daily carry guns at home

    we've never had an issue.

    He's 9 now.

    from hubbies facebook

So at the Gun show today I pick up a blank firing attatchment, so I dig up that old belt of 308 Blanks I had laying around Mosey over to the boys room and see what he's up to.
Well hes engrossed in COD MW3, hardly paying attention to the world around him.

So I head down to the Basement. Install the BFA onto the FAL. Load three rounds into the magazine, Put my ear muffs on and crack the three rounds off in quick succession. I Immediately hear yelling and head upstairs. His mom is laughing ( she was forewarned) hes hollering.

I asked him if that took COD to a whole new level of realism for him or not?
Then I spend several minutes explaining what blanks are.

I work at a school and I have to watch it if I get called into work if I am carrying. Couple of times I've had to come home and secure the weapon before heading to work. Most of the time when that happens I drive by my work place on the way home.

The school can make it legal for you to carry if you work for them.
Not that I dont know any school that does that.

Yup and that would require approval of the board of directors. I work on boats and hasent there been enough guns lost in boating accidents? :D

Wdit- actually ours does. We have an armed security department.

Have you ever heard of any school doing that for their staff or teachers?
Or even parents? Like they would do that.
