Can I help? My Mosin has been a safe queen ever since i bought my AR. Most likely will only use it for big game hunting and even for that I could use a superior weapon. Man socomike has really gotten to me

Mine is still in the box it came in covered in cosmoline. I'm gonna tear it down completely to get as much out as possible. This is the first Mosin I've owned but I'm pretty good with tools so I think I'll be fine. Plus I found this:
