It's not an outrageous price by any means. Just know, with a tapered barrel in a .30-06 round you'll have to leave it cool between shots so it doesn't get heated up too much.

That's why the heavy barrel rifles go for more money. I'd offer him less if it was a normal classified ad, but like its nots a bad price and if you're interested and feel bad about the ATI it wouldn't be a bad deal at all.
