    I need my roof done. And I am SO hiring someone.
    I have a 45 degree pitch. I have enough danger at work. I'm not risking 40 broken bones.

    Are you re-roofing yourself? That is a hot job in the mid-western summer.

    We had one guy come out and measure it up...never got back to us with a price so hubby decided to do it himself.

    I need my roof done. And I am SO hiring someone.

    Our's is 10/12 pitch for the majority of the roof. He is doing the dormer first. I reminded him he does not bounce well and hit 66 this week....grrrrrrrr. I came home the other day and found him up there tearing shingles off. :runaway:

    That estimate last year was $20K so that was tossed out. We can shingle twice for that. Insurance also said they don't cover storm damage to metal roof unless it has holes in it or is ripped off. Hail damage/dents, etc. are not covered since they don't affect their function.

    i spent $1848.00 + another 200 in trim and screws....roof is 44' x 60'....Erie insurance will cover dents or if it is ripped off.......it is warranted against fad or rust for 25 years...
