    Guns kill things for food too. And you can eat plants that grow in your yard. You can even use your gun to pick veggies....work on your shooting skills by blowing the veggies off the plant without damaging them.

    Had a guy I work with tell me " If anything ever happens I'm coming to your house". I told him he wouldn't make it across the front yard.
    Food is important, but with no way to protect it ... I'll leave it at that.

    I used to hear this from the siblings and their kids.
    When they finally understood that showing up with just a cell phone and the latest sneakers was not a ticket inside the compound they stopped saying this.

    I'm loading up everything in the truck and going to the bar. Concrete block building with food and booze. Spare parts for vehicles in the shop next door. And it's a mile from the house.
