Yeah I am extending a small roof over that part as a weather shield. The joist got a little more complex when I looked at snow load.
Plus an electrical circuit for a fan and some basic lighting.

Then she told me what the landscaping needs to look like.................

It really does.
This will be a lot of marble white stone covering the carpet I put down 8 years ago due to the G-daughters allergy's. She is 9 now and much much better.
Spouse wants some places in the this with flower beds etc.
Also a interlocking brick path over towards the daughters house.

Couldn't sleep. I read Docs post regarding his son. It just brought back memories of Grace and how horrible that was.

On a brighter note. I think a lake in your back yard would be great. You wouldn't have to mow much anymore and we could stock it with game fish and all of us could come out to the Mouse compound and camp, sing by a campfire, roast our weenies...wouldn't you like that? I think Mrs. Mouse would LOVE it.
