Yes. It means the urostomy and subsequent reconstruction of his intestines after removing his cancer-riddled bladder was successful and hence finally come home from the hospital.
Awkward....
That's good to hear, Chez.

Not anymore. Although kindergarten is not a required grade, the have standardized tests and learning requirements for the students.
It reflects poorly on the teacher if a student doesn't grasp a concept that traditionally would have been taught in 1st or 2nd grade. Again for emphasis, kindergarten is NOT a required grade (at least in Lawrence Township) but they need to know this stuff to be ready for 1st grade...nevermind the kids who didn't go to kindergarten. They'll be fine.
Getting a better understanding of the big picture really does help in the long run, but it has to go hand in hand with the traditional method, IMO.
My favorite mental shortcut is teaching percents. If you can find 10% (which is, of course, simple), you can find 20%, 30%, 40%, etc, by just multiplying it by 2, 3, 4...
Sorry... I posted about it across the street, I guess I should have kept it there.

Now I feel like an ass.

But not about this. If you didn't know, my "he pooped" post would certainly seem odd... Even for me.
