Dinners over, some lime pork thing with rice and peas, was very tasty.

I've been cleaning up the reloading room. 4 presses set up, 2 guys loading, and my Cousin's/Uncle's ( both passed, Cousin a yr ago) whole reloading room piled in my reloading room it was getting messy.

We just recently completed the estate clean up. Boxes and boxes of stuff that the spouse and siblings had to touch every piece and remember.
Long process but I believe it helped.

So very glad that is over and all the kept "Stuff" has been assimilated

Clearing out Dad's house was a chore, he and Mom had been there for 35 years, lots of accumulated stuff plus Dad's 60 plus years of reloading, shooting, and gunsmithing. At the same time I had darn near as much stuff at my old house that had to be moved to my new house, sorted and stored. I really hope this is something I never have to do again.

Spouse and I are at the age that getting our affairs in order just makes sense. Especially with dealing with both parents final business.

We are looking at what stays and what moves on.

Good for you CM.......:yesway: It's a PITA going through all of the stuff. We had to do it when we had to put MIL into the nursing home a year ago...I don't want to leave a mess like that for my kids either...

One of the guys I work with just lost his dad. He was having a surgery to take care of some cancer and he ended up getting out of ICU to end up having a heart attack. They had talked about what to do prior to the surgery since it was going to be high risk from the get go. He said that it was nice that all the affairs were already in order and they said the stuff they needed to say to one another before he passed. Some people are not luck enough to get that chance, I am happy he did.
