Last week was all first round interviews. I narrowed it down to two really solid candidates that we are interviewing again today. We will hire one of these two (assuming they accept our offer). Either one will work out well for us I believe.

I am hiring for an accounting position. The company installs guardrail and fence for highway projects.

Accounting? No thanks. Highway guardrails and fencing sounds interesting, though. I just look at dirt for a living.

I was finance, management and accounting in college. I think I might have had an econ minor in there somewhere also.

Sounds like my brother. Mine sounds more impressive than it actually was. Most of the additional majors only required one or two extra classes above what I already had to take for accounting.

I had to have a lot of accounting in there and econ. Also comp sci, but that was back when you punched cards, ran them through the card reader for the mainframe.
