    I have one tomato that is as big as a softball sitting on the counter. That one is the biggest of the ones I got from her.

    that one alone is a full meal

    Good morning!

    I had grand plans of canning diced tomatoes and green tomato relish this year. No tomatoes to speak of out there so i guess we better treasure the little bit of relish I still have stashed in the closet. My tomatoes didn't do well at all....too much rain earlier and cooler temps. The cherry tomatoes are the only ones really producing. Hard to make a BLT with those. :laugh:

    I couldn't cook without onions and garlic. I buy at least 50 pounds of onions for the root cellar every fall and 100 pounds of Yukon Gold potatoes. It is cheaper to buy them than to grow them and there is a potato farm by South Bend that grows them so they are local.
